Ras Al khaimah

Commonly known as the Al Hosin Fort, it used to be the residence of the Sheikh of Ras Al Khaimah back in the early 19th century. It has been rebuilt and transformed today into a museum in 1987. Situated in the heart of the old city, the museum is filled with a plethora of collections of archaeological materials from excavations conducted over the last twenty years, ethnographic material and natural history specimens.
